VINTAGE DARK BLUE HAT (160916)

DESCRIPTION
This is a very classy dark blue hat.
It is constructed from wool felt that has been stiffened so that the hat holds its shape.
The hat has a turned up brim in the front that tapers to a very narrow turned up brim at the back.
About three-quarters of the brim is covered with faux fur in the same color as the hat.
There is a decorative thing in the center of the brim in the front. It is made of dark silver metal.
The hat isn't lined, but has black grosgrain ribbon on the inside.
It has no labels.

SIZE
The hat would fit a small to medium sized sized head.
The hat model, with her wig, has a head measurement of 22 inches / 56 cm around the middle of her forehead. The hat can be pushed all the way onto her head.
The inside circumference of the hat is approximately 21 - 22 inches / 53 - 56 cm.

AGE
The hat is circa mid 20th century.

CONDITION
The hat is in excellent vintage condition with no issues.

Returns & Exchanges

The following items can't be returned or exchanged

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

Returns and exchange details

If a buyer wants to seek a refund, the buyer must get in touch with me within 14 days of receiving the item.
I will refund if you change your mind about the item - the cost of the item only, not the postage costs. The item must be returned to me in the same condition it was sent.
If an item is damaged in transit to such an extent that it can't be used, I will refund the cost of the item and the postage cost paid by the buyer. If the item is slightly damaged, but is still usable or repairable, I will discount the price. I will require proof of damage - an emailed photo will usually suffice.
If an item is lost in transit, I will refund the cost of the item and the postage cost.
If an item with a tracking number tracks as having been delivered and you didn't receive it, you must take this up with the carrier. The carrier won't allow me to do this on your behalf.
I will refund if the item is not as described. I may ask the buyer to return the item to me. In that case, I will pay for the cost of postage both ways as well as the cost of the item. If the buyer would like to keep the item at a discounted price, I will negotiate a price with the buyer.

All of the goods I sell are vintage and most will have had prior owners. For this reason, they are likely to show some signs of age or wear. This is normal and I will only mention specific issues that I think you should know before deciding to purchase.
