Oroton leather ladies wallet, green and black with black stitching, coin purse, folding money section, gold frame, England, 1970s

Sorry, this item has sold.

This wallet is constructed from emerald green and black leather with black stitching.
It has a coin purse attached to a folding money section. This section also has room for just a couple of cards.
The coin purse has a gold metal frame with a kiss lock.
The folding money section is secured to the coin purse with a black leather tab that has the early "O" symbol for Oroton.
Oroton is an iconic Australian company that was established in 1938. It started to use the "O" symbol in the 1970s.
The coin purse is lined with black leather.
All of the wallet is leather except for the metal parts.
Inside the folding section there is a gold stamp that says:
Genuine Calf
Made in England".

The wallet measures 4.5 inches / 11.5 cm by 3.75 inches / 9.5 cm when closed.

The wallet is circa 1970s.

The wallet is in very good vintage condition, but it has been used, not kept in a drawer. The frame is dull in places, but the clip and clasp work well.

Returns and exchange details

I am happy to refund if you change your mind about the item. You will receive the refund (postage costs excluded) when I receive the goods back in the same condition they were sent.
I will refund the cost of the item and the postage cost paid when:
The item is not as described or
The item is damaged in transit to such an extent that it can't be used or
The item is lost in transit.
If the item is slightly damaged in transit, but is still usable or repairable, I will discount the price. I will require proof of damage - an emailed photo will usually suffice.
If an item with a tracking number tracks as having been delivered and the buyer doesn't receive it, the buyer must take this up with the carrier. The carrier won't allow me to do this on the buyer's behalf. I will not refund in this situation.

Please don't ask for a discount. I probably won't respond to your request.

All of the goods I sell are vintage and most will have had prior owners. For this reason, they are likely to show some signs of age or wear. This is normal and I will only mention specific issues that I think you should know about before deciding to purchase.
