These 6 large, silver plated dessert spoons have fiddle pattern handles.
The spoons were made by 2 companies.
Three were made by William Gallimore. These spoons are stamped:
WG (for William Gallimore)
S (for Sheffield)
Star symbol
A (for quality)
EP (for electroplated / silver plated).
Three were made by Lee and Wigfull. These spoons are stamped:
L&W (for Lee and Wigfull)
S (for sheffield)
Anchor symbol (for Sheffield)
A (for quality)
EP (for electroplated / silver plated).
These companies operated in Sheffield in the 1800s.
The spoons are solid and weighty. The six of them weigh 323 grams.

Three spoons are 7.5 inches / 19 cm long.
Three spoons are 7.25 inches / 18.5 cm long.

The spoons were manufactured in the second half of the 1800s.

The spoons are in remarkably good vintage condition with expected surface scratches and very minor plate loss.

If you buy more than one item, I will combine postage wherever possible and will refund any subsequent over payment of postage.

The item will be posted with Australia Post's air mail service.

All other items will be shipped for free.

Returns & Exchanges

I gladly accept returns and exchanges

Just contact me within: 7 days of delivery

Ship items back to me within: 14 days of delivery

I don't accept cancellations

The following items can't be returned or exchanged

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

Returns and exchange details

I am happy to refund if you change your mind about the item. You will receive the refund (postage costs excluded) when I receive the goods back in the same condition they were sent.
I will refund the cost of the item and the postage cost paid when:
The item is not as described or
The item is damaged in transit to such an extent that it can't be used or
The item is lost in transit.
If the item is slightly damaged in transit, but is still usable or repairable, I will discount the price. I will require proof of damage - an emailed photo will usually suffice.
If an item with a tracking number tracks as having been delivered and the buyer doesn't receive it, the buyer must take this up with the carrier. The carrier won't allow me to do this on the buyer's behalf. I will not refund in this situation.


Please don't ask for a discount. I probably won't respond to your request.

All of the goods I sell are vintage and most will have had prior owners. For this reason, they are likely to show some signs of age or wear. This is normal and I will only mention specific issues that I think you should know about before deciding to purchase.
