VINTAGE BROWN MINK FUR STOLE (Ref: 170428)

DESCRIPTION
This is a gorgeous and luxurious brown mink fur stole.
It has interesting variations of lighter and darker shades.
The stole is long, wide, and shaped so that it fits around the neck and shoulders nicely.
It has a shawl collar and is fully lined in bronze colored satin.
It has a fur loop on one side so that one end of the stole can be slipped under the loop and be held in place. It also has a single fur clip for the same purpose.
It has shallow pockets - finger pockets.
The label on the inside says:
"Jackson and Son Pty Ltd
166 Adelaide Street, Brisbane
Foremost for fine furs for over 70 years".
Jackson and Son, or Jackson Furs as they are now known, was established in 1896.
It is a beautifully made, high quality item.

MEASUREMENTS
The measurements are taken on the inside along the lining, not the fur.
With the stole folded in half, the inside length (the length that touches the neck) measures 29 inches / 74 cm and the outside length measures 31 inches / 79 cm.
The stole measures 16.5 inches / 41 cm wide in the middle (some of this is the folded over collar as seen in the photo of the back) and 7 inches / 18 cm wide at each end.
It would best fit a person size small to medium / large.

AGE
The stole is circa 1960s - based on the information on the label.

CONDITION
The stole is in excellent vintage condition and appears to have been stored well. The fur is in beautiful condition and the stole has no tears or rips. It has no marks on the lining.

POSTAGE
If you purchase more than one item I combine postage, if possible, and refund any postage overages.

The item will be shipped with Australia Post.

Returns & Exchanges

The following items can't be returned or exchanged

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

Returns and exchange details

If a buyer wants to seek a refund, the buyer must get in touch with me within 14 days of receiving the item.
I will refund if you change your mind about the item - the cost of the item only, not the postage costs. The item must be returned to me in the same condition it was sent.
If an item is damaged in transit to such an extent that it can't be used, I will refund the cost of the item and the postage cost paid by the buyer. If the item is slightly damaged, but is still usable or repairable, I will discount the price. I will require proof of damage - an emailed photo will usually suffice.
If an item is lost in transit, I will refund the cost of the item and the postage cost.
If an item with a tracking number tracks as having been delivered and you didn't receive it, you must take this up with the carrier. The carrier won't allow me to do this on your behalf.
I will refund if the item is not as described. I may ask the buyer to return the item to me. In that case, I will pay for the cost of postage both ways as well as the cost of the item. If the buyer would like to keep the item at a discounted price, I will negotiate a price with the buyer.

All of the goods I sell are vintage and most will have had prior owners. For this reason, they are likely to show some signs of age or wear. This is normal and I will only mention specific issues that I think you should know before deciding to purchase.
