VINTAGE DUSKY PINK WOOL FELT HAT (Ref: 170432)

DESCRIPTION
This is a very smart bowler hat for a woman.
It is dusky pink wool felt with a rolled brim.
The right side of the hat has 2 large feathers in different shades of pink. These are tucked into a grosgrain ribbon bow. The pink grosgrain ribbon runs around the crown of the hat.
The hat also has pink netting all around the brim.
The label tells us that the brand is Kangol Design and that the hat was made in England.
The hat would be great to wear at a wedding or the races.

SIZE
The hat would suit small to medium sized heads.
The hat model, without her wig, has a head measurement of 20.5 inches / 52 cm around the middle of her forehead.
The inside circumference of the hat is approximately 22 inches / 56 cm.

AGE
The design of the hat is timeless. Kangol Design has been making hats in England since the 1930s. This hat doesn't have the Kangol kangaroo logo that was introduced in 1983 so I estimate that it is circa 1960s.

CONDITION
The hat is in excellent vintage condition.

Returns & Exchanges

The following items can't be returned or exchanged

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

Returns and exchange details

If a buyer wants to seek a refund, the buyer must get in touch with me within 14 days of receiving the item.
I will refund if you change your mind about the item - the cost of the item only, not the postage costs. The item must be returned to me in the same condition it was sent.
If an item is damaged in transit to such an extent that it can't be used, I will refund the cost of the item and the postage cost paid by the buyer. If the item is slightly damaged, but is still usable or repairable, I will discount the price. I will require proof of damage - an emailed photo will usually suffice.
If an item is lost in transit, I will refund the cost of the item and the postage cost.
If an item with a tracking number tracks as having been delivered and you didn't receive it, you must take this up with the carrier. The carrier won't allow me to do this on your behalf.
I will refund if the item is not as described. I may ask the buyer to return the item to me. In that case, I will pay for the cost of postage both ways as well as the cost of the item. If the buyer would like to keep the item at a discounted price, I will negotiate a price with the buyer.

All of the goods I sell are vintage and most will have had prior owners. For this reason, they are likely to show some signs of age or wear. This is normal and I will only mention specific issues that I think you should know before deciding to purchase.
